Although melatonin is not a direct treatment, it can affect virus-related diseases through indirect effects of anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and immune enhancement.

Cherry is a representative fruit containing melatonin. The melatonin content of cherries is 50 times that of garlic and 30 times that of broccoli. A cup of cherries, 140g, contains about 10mg of melatonin.
