Heavy metals are not released when they enter the body, but accumulate and cause health problems. According to a survey, metabolic syndrome has a higher concentration of heavy metals than normal people. A total of 1,827 adults aged 20 or older were surveyed for the relationship between heavy metal concentrations and metabolic syndrome in Korean adults. As a result, 419 subjects with metabolic syndrome had 0.16 ug / L of cadmium levels higher than 1408 subjects with normal metabolic syndrome. The lead was 0.25 ug / L and mercury was 0.62 ug / L higher. The concentrations of heavy metals in people with metabolic syndrome were 0.96 ug / L for cadmium, 2.13 ug / L for lead and 3.77 ng / L for mercury. Even a small amount of heavy metals cannot be discharged out of the body, causing long-term health damage. When cadmium and lead accumulate in the body, they reduce the flexibility of the blood vessels and make them harder and produce hypertension. Mercury accumulates triglycerides and raises abdominal obesity. In fact, exposure to heavy metals such as cadmium, lead, and mercury increased the risk of obesity and hypertension, the metabolic syndrome factors. Comparing the high 50% and high 50% groups with high heavy metal concentrations, the risk of obesity was 19% to 22% higher and the risk of hypertriglyceridemia increased by 31% to 32% in the top 50%. The risk of hypertension was 28-29% higher. Recently, the risk of exposing human heavy metals is increasing due to the intake of fish accumulating heavy metals and the increase of pesticide use. The risk of metabolic syndrome should be lowered through efforts to reduce exposure to heavy metals, such as not eating fish such as tuna. Antioxidant hydrogenated alkaline water is natural water that passes the general water through the Biocera Balls. Biocera Balls are the alkaline catalyst that has been tested and certified against NSF international for NSF / ANSI 42 for material requirements in the purpose of drinking water use. Antioxidant hydrogen alkaline water has two times smaller water molecule than ordinary water, thus helps absorption quicker in excreting acidic wastes in the body.
