Dehydration Symptoms | Histamine

Dehydration is a warning from the body that should not be worn out easily. Decreased immunity from dehydration can threaten coronavirus (COVID-19) exposure.

Every year thousands of people suffer from allergic bronchitis, eczema, and atopic dermatitis. If this condition persists, you should understand how it affects your quality of life. You should know if dehydration of simple allergic symptoms can also affect it. Allergic asthma and rhinitis are caused by the overproduction of an immune system chemical called histamine in the body. Histamine is a substance that is involved in allergic reactions or inflammation and may cause capillaries, runny nose, and edema.

Body's Immune Reaction

The body's immune system produces antibodies called immunoglobulin-E (IgE) to fight invading substances when harmful substances entering from the outside enter the body. When a person with food allergies eats foods with high histamine content, it is recognized as a harmful substance and excessively produces histamine in the body. Symptoms include hives, rashes, swelling, and vomiting diarrhea, but in severe cases, it can cause hypotension, dizziness, and even a heart attack.

Foods High in Histamine

Tuna, mackerel, mackerel, saury, pork, spinach, eggplant, tomato, avocado, orange, kiwi, grapefruit, peanut, caffeine drink, sausage, bacon, cheese, salted, canned, smoked meat and fish, Chocolate, cocoa, strawberry, tangerine, pineapple, mango, buckwheat, crustaceans, nuts, seasonings, artificial colors, food additives

Dehydration Lead to Mass Histamine

When we drink less water, the amount of water in the body decreases, resulting in dehydration. Then, the moisture in the blood decreases, the concentration of the electrolyte increases, and the kidneys reabsorb the urine. It releases histamine, a neurotransmitter, to distribute the lack of moisture due to dehydration where necessary. Histamine supplies moisture and blood to the brain first to maintain life, expanding the capillaries, but causing headaches and dizziness. In addition, as histamine concentration increases due to persistent dehydration, gastric acid secretion increases, digestion slows down, and the stomach becomes more bloated, causing nausea or vomiting.

Water is Indispensable for Us

In order to prevent excessive histamine caused by an allergic reaction, you should drink antioxidant alkaline water frequently. Water is a diuretic, which facilitates the discharge of waste products from the body, and helps the body metabolize processes such as transporting nutrients and controlling body temperature. In particular, it is important to replenish water in the body in a timely manner, and it is time to focus on immunity with coronavirus (COVID-19). Drinking alkaline water continuously should improve your blood circulation, sleep, and suppress histamine secretion, so you should pay attention not to break down the immune balance in your body. If you drink too much alkaline water in a short period of time, your body's sodium levels will be lowered, which can lead to headaches, stress, and muscle cramps.
