Dr. Jeon has received a certificate for completing MBSR (Mindfulness-based stress reduction) program (June 16-19) held by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. The program offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist stress, anxiety, depression, and pain. The MBSR seems to be training to control body sensations, thoughts, emotions, and memories, to reduce pain and improve health. It is also a way to cultivate attention through meditation, develop emotional control, and reduce anxiety. Meditation can have a beneficial effect on the healthy mind and body by regaining the tranquility of the mind away from the controlled routine for many.
